2:There has been issues with staff in terms of lack of staff, and staff have …

Recruiting: J/K/C Translators [Open]

Post  Kaelyxta on Mon Mar 14, 2011 12:29 pm

We are looking for Japanese, Korean and Chinese translators at the moment. We encourage more Japanese and Korean translator applicants, as we already have some Chinese translators but none of Japanese and Korean.

- You must be fluent in the language you're translating from and English. Stick as close to the original meaning as possible, and try keeping the translation to the everyday use of English. It's ok if there's spelling mistakes and some grammar mistakes, proofreaders will fix it, but make sure to double-check your work, to make it an easier task for our proofreaders.

- Experience not required! It would be great if you have experience, but we would consider you equally if you don't.

- Use Word Document to translate, and utilise the spell check and grammar check functions.

- Pay attention not to miss translations, that would slow editors down. Be clear which bubbles and text you're translating from. Use a Key or Legend if you have to.

- Post a reply here for application. PM and e-mailing is fine too.

Applicants will be tested, we will e-mail the tests to you.

Help translate some manga! Japanese and Korean translators needed!
